Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of this study, the spatial accuracy of SAR images and their compatibility with map data were investigated in three different test areas. Antalya(TR), SanDiago(USA) and İzmir(TR) are test areas for three different SAR satellite data. Primarily, European Space Agency (ESA) Sentinel-1A satellite data, Antalya province Open Street Map (OSM) and Photogrammetric Digital Map (FSH) data were compared. The same common points were determined on all three data sets. The SAR data set was accepted as the experimental data and the other data sets as the control data. It was examined whether the coordinate differences in the SAR & OSM and SAR & FSH datasets showed normal distribution. In both comparisons, better representation of coordinates and (Xd-Xc) coordinate difference (Ya-Yc) and (XaYc) and coordinate difference (Ya-Yc) is shown. Space Capella SAR satellite data was used in the United States (USA) SanDiago city test area. This data set was compared with the OSM data set. Since the Capella SAR satellite image is GEO referenced, the OSM data was overlaid with the QGIS program and the coordinates of the common points were calculated from the two data sets. Histogram, Normal distribution graphs and Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wilk Normal distribution tests were applied according to the position values of the points. The proportional distributions within the circles with ±5m, ±10m and ±20m radius widths were examined by drawing the position graph of the coordinate differences obtained from the OSM and Capella satellite data. The ICEYE SAR satellite data set and the OSM data set were compared in the Izmir province test area. Common points of building corners, road junctions and borders were determined from the two data sets and their coordinates were calculated. Histogram and Normal distribution graphs were examined according to the position values of the points. Assuming that this scatter plot is a Logarithmic chart, Histogram and Normal scatter plots of Ln(Sab) values of Sab side lengths were examined. Average, Standard Deviation and 2*Standard Deviation values were calculated. By drawing the position graph of the coordinate differences obtained from the OSM and ICEYE SAR satellite data, the proportional distributions of the (Ya-Yb) and (Xa-Xb) coordinate differences values within ±5m, ±10m and ±20m circles were examined It can be said that the data of all three Test areas show compliance and consistency in comparison studies. It should be said that the test area data should be similar to the test area, the number of points and the number of pieces in order to be able to compare with each other.
