Abstract (EN)
In this study, nickel-boron-tin alloy was deposited on C1010 steel by electroless plating method. The effects of heat treatment time, immersion time, concentration of reducing agent and amount of tin ion source were examined in detail. The effects of all these variables on the corrosion of steel were examined. The corrosion behaviors of the obtained coatings were examined in 1% NaCl solution by alternative current (AC) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and potentiodynamic polarization measurements. Morphological and crystallographic properties were investigated in detail using SEM-EDX and XRD techniques. As a result of these studies, suitable conditions were determined for the Ni-B-Sn coating obtained on C1010 steel.
