This research is a descriptive study that emphasizes Using of Dramatic Techniques in Contemporary French Teaching Methods and suggests some practices that can be made up a new resource. The subject of our study is the application of drama techniques in Communicative Approach which draws attention as a language teaching method especially in recent years.In the first part, the problem fact, objective, importance, hypothesis, limitedness and descriptions are explained after a short introduction.In the second part, language fact and Foreign Language Teaching are emphasized, a short summary is presented about the methods in Foreign Language Teaching and the techniques that are used in these methods.In the third part, the meaning of drama is tried to be explained. A summary is introduced about the techniques in drama. The significance of drama in education is emphasized.In the fourth part, the application of drama in teaching of French is emphasized by giving the detailed characteristics of the Communicative Approach.In the final part, It is come to a conclusion related to the subject in the light of the studies that have been done and put forward some suggestions to the dramatic activities to be applied in French classes.
