Digital imagery aesthetic in contemporary painting

Many artists within the practices of contemporary painting would make use of the possibilities of what digital technologies offer in various approaches inside their productions. In this study a period is being told using the works of artists with similar apprehension and formal shares.As a result of the amendments of the digitalizing world on our perception, the practice of painting has also entered in an adaptation period. Artists during this adaptation period have tried to render their productions parallel to the conditions of today by processing them in terms of form and material. Computer has, in this matter, been a very important agency for indispensable possibilities. The artist using the talent of providing new imagery in a short time by processing images has reached a more dominant status over the image itself. While the image is formed with the initiative of the artist nevertheless its reforming through computers creates a common language for the productions. Many artists, having been the witnesses of the evolution of digital imagery, are at the same time the very documents of this period. Here the painting possesses a role of reflecting, through the multiplicity of innumerable digital images, the individual perspectives to us.In conclusion, although many artists since the 90s have used the digital possibilities in different contexts, concepts and with various references, however the aesthetics of digital imagery is a kind of group consisting of such productions.
