Abstract (EN)
Ahmed Adnan Saygun, a composer from the first generation of composers of our Republic, is a musician who deserves an important place in the Turkish history of music with his personality, his work as an educationalist, his ethnomusicological studies and his ideas as well as his musical compositions. His life history is concurrent with our cultural history and especially our history of music. This study undertakes to highlight the place and importance of the Turkish opera analysis of Ahmed Adnan Saygun from a contemporary and dramatical point of view and and thus find out more about our cultural history and to pass on what we have learned.
