Women's Qureysh at jahiliyya society

Our study aims that preseting the position of woman in family, social, economic, belief and casual life in pre-islamic age of ignorance. First of all, Arabian familiy structure is summarized to show the woman's position in a family. In this age, a woman is approached as individual and qualification of motherness. Besides, we argued handling the woman as a wife, marriage types and different aspects of relationships between woman and man. After that, it is told that (the woman who being a part of social life) her casual life and activities, positive and negative viewpoints of society the woman, her position in belife and worship. It is tried to tell the position in aspects of a woman's clothes and toilet in jahiliyyah. We can say that it is impossible to comment completely negatively or positively about situation of women in Quaraysh in this age. We can say that some women are active in both family and society, only other weakling women who belonging to lower class and being weak as financial situation fall into contempt or excluded.
