Investigation of invertabraid biomass of Çakalburnu bay within the time periods

The purpose of this study is to establish the benthic fauna and flora of Çakalburnu fishpond. Thus, during the study four stations were selected and two seasonal sampling (spring and fall) were made in the study area. As a result of the study, 78 species and total 6913 individuals which belong to 8 groups have been determined. The qualitative and quantitative changes have been observed and compared with the studies done in İzmir Bay. This study has shown that this lagoon area has been lost its natural characteristic, the pollution has incresed.
