Abstract (EN)

In this study, the moderating role of stress management in the relationship between employee silence and burnout syndrome was examined. Employee Silence: It is the situation in which employees voluntarily choose to remain silent even on some issues that they are very good at in their field, as they are afraid of some traditional pressures in the management or organizational field that cannot be written down, and they get lost in the vortex spiral of silence. Burnout Syndrome: It is the chaotic state of mind in which employees get stuck as a result of being overwhelmed by the heavy responsibilities of today's competitive conditions, feeling alienated from work, and seeing themselves as inadequate. Stress Management: It is a situation of getting rid of the bad conditions through affirmation by managing the bad conditions that occur in order to prevent the state of burnout that the person is pushed into from getting worse as a result of the silence preferred by the individuals in the organization and subsequently turning into a big problem. In this study, employee silence is detailed and the factors affecting burnout are tried to be covered in full detail; Stress management, which is a concept that means the employee's effort to recover through his own efforts and external factors during the most intense period of burnout, has been examined and its relationship with the subject has been tried to be explained. Scales used in the study: Employee Silence scale, Stress Management scale and Maslach Burnout scale. In the study, Cronbach's Alpha Reliability Coefficient was examined to evaluate the scale reliability, and when the Cronbach's Alpha Reliability Coefficients of the scales were examined, it was determined that the scales had medium and high reliability. A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine whether employee silence had an effect on the participants' burnout levels, and it was found that as employee silence increased, employees' burnout levels increased; A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine whether stress management had an effect on the participants' burnout levels, and as a result, it was concluded that as stress management increased, people's burnout levels decreased significantly; A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine whether Employee Silence had an effect on the participants' Stress Management levels and it was concluded that there was no effect between employee silence and stress management.
