Abstract (EN)

In today's conditions, the improved of working life gained importance in our country and around the world, so institutions began to take innovative steps in human resources.The most important aspect that cause the improving of production and quality of service is human.Therefore, it is neccecary to increase the belief of employees to managers and work commitment. There are various expectations of the employees except the wage in return for their efforts from their manager and institution. The purpose of this study, to understand what employees expect from their managers about reward in the working life. Thus, the convenient and valid rewards can be identified to employees. Awards both honor employees and help them to adapt better to the corporate 's culture. Awards are also developing the loyalty and relationship between employees, manager, instutions. This study is comprised of three parts. In the first part, the concept of awarding is considered and is mentioned about awarding coverage. The importance of the award and the concept of expectation is examined. In the second part, the kinds of awarding is determined in detail and awarding methods are analyzed. In the third part of the study,according to the types of awards determined, in the center of a private bank's operations, a survey that reveals employees' preference for reward expectancy is conducted.
