Abstract (EN)

The subject of the thesis is Occupational Health and Safety As An Area of Co-Determination. Thesis consists of three sections.Definitions of Co-determination, occupational health and safety and also their sides, benefits and importances were evaluated in first section.In the second section, emphasizing the relation between co-determination and occupational health and safety, workers? participation to occupational health and safety activities were studied with Turkey?s and other countries models in national and workplace level. In the context of regulations, council type bodies at national level and committees at workplace level were mentioned in this section.In the final section, workers? participation to occupational health and safety activities in Turkey at national and workplace level was evaluated in the context of National Occupational Health and Safety Council, Occupational Health and Safety Committee and draft proposal of the occupational health and safety act.
