Negative behaviors and effects of disabled people in working place

Although the progress in the world and our country is being improved day by day, the rights of disabled people, which is still a problem, is an issue that needs to be addressed. Individuals with disabilities categorized in the minority class continue their lives within the framework of limited opportunities. It is observed that the majority of people are limited due to insufficiencies in their environmental, socio-cultural and economic rights and their quality of life is weakened. In this context, new studies related to the field will be a step to improve the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities, universally and in our country. The aim of this study is to create awareness by shedding light on the problems of disabled individuals in our country and to contribute to the literature. In this study, the problems faced by disabled individuals in the employment process and their effects are discussed. In the first and second part of the study, there is a literature review that extends from the world level to disabled individuals in our country. In the third section, which consists of the last section, a questionnaire conducted with 100 disabled employees in Istanbul and in-depth interviews conducted with the qualitative research method in order to support this study.
