Abstract (EN)

The opportunities introduced into the human communication by the continual development of mass media and by rapidly improving conditions of communication in line with the changing conditions of the world affect and evolve the facts of delivering and receiving services, continuously. This change brings along an ever-increasing expectation, including non-profit organizations and communities. Organizations are now required to both produce the best products and services using the best technology and offer them in the best possible way. All these requirements increase the importance of the human factor within the organisations, day by day. Only those organisations that can convince and motivate their employees, interact with them effectively, determine and respond to their needs can attain success. The study is created by means of historical method and literature review technique. The concepts of motivation and organizational commitment are the processes which require the organisations to make an effort in order to attain success and also to unite around common objectives and culture. The productivity of employees, labour turnover, absence, decision to leave job, performance statuses are directly related to motivation and organizational commitment. Therefore, both facts are an integral part of the working life. It is because of those reasons that organisational decision makers are required to understand the concepts of employee motivation and organisational commitment and implement these concepts in a manner that best suits them.
