Abstract (EN)

Worklife quality is significant for companies and enterprises in order to have qualified workforce and be able to retain their present employees. The most critical power underlies successful businesses is their employees. Operating business efficiently depends on providing an environment for employees which they can show high and well performance. If this environment is created, a workplace will become a living place. In this way, both the efficiency of employees and the productivity and profitability of businesses will be increased. From this point of view, this postgraduate thesis is the study that discusses the quality of worklife. The main purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of the quality of worklife on employees. The effects are stated as organizational commitment, turnover intention, creativity, performance, and knowledge share of employees. To that end, initially, conceptual frame and hypotheses have been formed through examining domestic and foreign literature regarding the issue. Next, the study has been supported by a field work. The hypotheses of the research have been analyzed by the results received from SPSS statistical programme. As a result of the analyses done in the study, It has been determined that while the worklife quality of employees has positive impact on their organizational commitment, creativity performance and knowledge share, it has a considerable negative effect on their turnover intention. It is expected that the acquired findings will contribute to the respective literature and later studies.
