The other behind the glass: The representation of a woman in the Girls in The Glass series within the framework of feminism

The concept of gender is one of the main issues that need to be researched and discussed today, which has progressed as a sub-branch of feminism since its birth. Studies within the scope of gender have contributed to the formation of a rich knowledge on the meaning of gender roles and feminism. Television, one of the mass media, has an important place especially in the shaping and reproduction of gender roles. This thesis aims to analyze the gender codes, how the female characters are presented to the audience and the attitude of the audience in the feminist critical framework in the TV series "Girl on the Glass".
