Özet (EN)

In this study was determining and mapping the amount of soil carbon in the Research and Application Forest located in the semi-arid area.The dominant tree species of the research area is Black Pine (Pinus nigra Arnold.). As a result of the study, the average amount of carbon in the 0-5 cm depth was %7,70; 5-15 cm depth was %6,14; 15-30 cm depth was %4,61 in research forest.The average carbon amount per hectare is 27.22 t/ha with a depth of 0-5 cm; 46,15 t/ha with a depth of 5-15 cm; 52,55 t/ha with a depth of 15-30 cm was determined. According to the stand types, the amount of carbon stored in the soil with a depth of 0-30 cm was found in mixed stands (P. sylvestris + P. nigra) with 163.93 t / ha. The lowest carbon amount was determined with 90.91 t / ha in degraded black pine stands.The amount of carbon in the degraded black pine stand was found to be 45% lower than the areas where scotch pine(P. sylvestris) was found. According to the values obtained from 90 soil profiles, it was determined that an average of 36.43 t / ha of carbon was stored in one-hectare area.This study will be an important base for long-term research studies.
