Abstract (EN)

Our folk poets have done their part with success for centuries concerning the keeping of our national culture alive and its transfer to future generations. Our folk poets, who throughout our country voiced the feelings and thoughts of the public and carried happennings to their works using the public tongue, didn't only voiced what the people lived but at the same time, sometimes knowing and sometimes unaware, also helped the public to become conscious about many subjects and gain knowledge and good manners. In our work, after observing the folk poets of Çankırı through the traditions of the folk literature, it was tried to manifest the characteristics of the poems concerning public education, fixating the elements of interaction which exist within the scope of tradition. For this reason, our work has been completed as three sections. In the first section, the traditional elements of the folk poets from Çankırı, which were taking nicknames, falling in love after a dream, master and apprentice, meeting of bards, riddle (askı), saying things in ?dedim-dedi? style, notifying the date, replying others using similar words (nazîre) and forms and playing the saz, have been evaluated. In the second section, the elements of interaction are manifested based on these traditions. In the third section the elements of education are classified and presented under the leadings of love, life, land-village life, religion, public life- human relations, injustice, diligence, animals and nature, traffic, health, death, love of nation and country, child education, advices, manners, separation, fate and foreign land. Our work has its importance resulting from the fact that no comprehensive study of this subject has been performed until today. Folk literature, interaction, education, society, tradition.
