Abstract (EN)

In this research, by examining Bio art and the sample works related to Bio art, the interactions of vitality, biology and biotechnology with 3D expression are tried to be revealed. With the prominence of the distinctions such as living / non-living, natural / artificial, the human's view of the other and the understanding of beings have been deemed important. In this context, mixed entities in mythologies and legends, whose source is seen in an entity with nature, have been studied. Afterwards, by examining the process of identification and decomposition of natural beings from Ancient Greece to the Scientific Revolution, Bioethics issues of which discuss the interventions to vitality and the organization of life, are touched upon. By evaluating the interactions between beings, experiences of vitality, 3-dimensional contemporary works related to the subject expanded within the scope of living material and fictional vitality, the visibility of the idea of the interactions between Bio art and sculpture and the idea of sculpture redefined in human effects on vitality as a thought tool has been investigated.
