Özet (EN)

This study was carried out on C. c. umbla obtained from Hazar Lake and Keban Dam Lake (Elazığ) between December 2006 and November 2007. During the study, total 228 C. c. umbla from Hazar Lake and total 232 C. c. umbla from Keban Dam Lake were observed.Although reproduction periods of C. c. umbla populations from both Hazar Lake and Keban Dam Lake were determined as may-june months, it was found that some individuals have laid eggs and sperm in July.Glycogen levels in the liver were found in ranges 55.52-118.73 mg/g in the males, 45.79-121.42 mg/g in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Hazar Lake and 63.42-133.15 mg/g in the males, 47.57-145.36 mg/g in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Keban Dam Lake. Glycogen levels in the muscle were found in ranges 1.42-13.71 mg/g in the males, 1.36-12.84 mg/g in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Hazar Lake and 1.15-11.84 mg/g in the males, 0.75-15.36 mg/g in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Keban Dam Lake. Glycogen levels in both liver and muscle increased with the increasing of age, weight and length and decreased in months in which there was dense reproduction activity. It was found that glycogen levels in both liver and muscle showed no significant difference according to sex and regions where experimental fish was obtained (p>0.05).Glucose levels in the blood found in ranges 3.60-252.27 mg/dl in the males, 23.74-206.53 mg/dl in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Hazar Lake and 5.62-234.21 mg/dl in the males, 13.76-284.21 mg/dl in the females of C. c. umbla populations from Keban Dam Lake. Glucose levels in blood decreased with the increasing of age, weight and length and increased in months in which there was dense gonodal development. It was reached the maximum in april and started to decrease quickly in may and june in which there was dense reproduction activity. It was found that glucose levels in blood showed no significant difference according to sex and regions where experimental fish was obtained (p>0.05).
