Abstract (EN)
Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Sandwich Panels Under Impact Load Reinforced concrete (RC) elements, which are one of the most used materials in engineering structures, are exposed to different load conditions and environmental effects throughout their economic life. With the development of RC elements and the increase in the areas in which they are used, it is important to know their behavior towards different loads. Various standards have been developed against static loading, earthquake loading and moving loading. However, to determine the behavior of impacted elements such as impact load, an experimental study and the behavior of the structure should be determined. Prefabricated structures are used in most work groups today due to the advantage of fast manufacturing and fast assembly. The fact that the prefabricated elements that will form the structure increases the weight increases the disadvantage during transportation and assembly. Therefore, sandwich plate types have been developed to lighten such structures. In the thesis study, sandwich plates with different core structures were produced in order to alleviate the reinforced concrete slabs and increase the damping property against impact load and the behavior of these sandwich slabs under the impact effect was compared with the same size and same volume reinforced concrete slabs. The dimensions of the 16 pieces produced are 2000x2000x15 mm and the size of 3 pieces are 2000x2000x11 mm. In order to carry out the experiment, the test apparatus was designed and the impact effect of free falling weight on 19 test specimens was examined. In all experiments the weight of the dropped body was 320 kg and the drop height was taken as 2.5 m. In the study, the damage conditions that occurred as a result of impact on the experimental elements were determined; displacement values and load amounts to support points were determined. The results of the filled plate samples and the concrete sandwich plate samples having different core shapes were compared. Key Words: Impact loading, concrete sandwich plate, core structure
