Abstract (EN)

In order to realize the policy of the Russians to go south from the Ottoman lands,The socio-economic policies they applied to the people of the Caucasus left the people in difficult conditions. After the Crimean War in 1856,under Russian dominated and Anatolia from the Caucasus after the 1860s started migration to their lands. Placed in suitable regions of Anatolia One of the regions where Chechens were settled was the province of Sivas. In this study, the migration of Chechens to Sivas province after the Crimean War and settlements have been considered. In order to understand the Chechen's migration first of all such as migrations, immigration, immigrant, exile focused on concepts and Chechens' history, geography and resistancehas been mentioned. Settlement of Chechens in different parts of Anatolia and especially Sivas the places where they were settled in the province, the aid made after they were settled, The problems encountered were tried to be revealed with archival documents.
