Problems with checks and payment

Cheques are widely used throughout our country and the world. Cheque provides the speed and ease needed for commercial life. It is a reliable commercial paper. Due to the fact that the cheque is such an important deed for the market, many arrangements have been made regarding the cheques, taking into account the variable nature and needs of the business life. In this study, the basic principles of the cheque, payment and non-payment of the check and the consequences of this situation will be discussed. The impact of the regulations on the community and the market on the cheques is important and the provisions to be applied to the cheques should be ensured in the implementation unity. It is aimed to be a useful study in order to reach the most suitable result in both commercial and legal terms. In this study, changes in cheque legislation, historical process, doctrine, judicial decisions and scientific studies will also be discussed.
