Özet (EN)
Endorsement of Cheque has been studied in this thesis. Cheques are widely used in commercial life. However, (due to fact that it has been broadly inspired by German Commercial Law) Turkish Commercial Law contains fewer articles regarding ?Cheque? when compared to ?Policy?.Endorsement of Cheque has certain characteristics in comparison to other valuable papers. Those characteristics have been studied within the framework of Turkish Commercial Law, Law numbered 3167 and 4814; Cheque Law numbered 591 and dated 14.12.2009; and also supported with Supreme Court of Appeals (Yargıtay) Chamber of Law decisions and particularly decision of 10th Chamber that issues decisions as regards bad cheque. The study here tries to examine certain identifications of Jurisprudence with regard to discrepancies or imperfections among the relevant law provisions and possible solution suggestions for those discrepancies or imperfections, as per the opinion of Jurisprudence and decisions Supreme Court of Appeal. It has been tried to explain how to perform endorsement of cheques in line with law and without imperfection.
