Abstract (EN)
The trend towards renewable energy sources in electrical energy production systems is increasing. A system that will meet the electricity needs has been established by using solar panels and wind turbines together. These systems are called hybrid electric energy systems. It is important to obtain sustainable and quality energy in hybrid energy systems where renewable energy sources are used. Additional converters are also used to ensure that the voltage at the system output of the desired power is at an optimum level. Due to the complexity of these systems, computer simulations; They enable different economic and engineering parameters used for the establishment, modeling and planning of hybrid energy systems to be brought to the optimum value. These simulations can be applied to any new system and can detect problems that may occur during the operation of the system. Caravan users want to use the product in winter tourism as well as having a holiday at the beach in summer. However, in winter months, more energy is needed to meet heating and other electrical needs. However, since the sun is insufficient in winter, the need for wind turbines and other electricity providers increases. In addition, as more load is placed on the batteries, the life of the system decreases. During the summer months, wind energy is generated at night but cannot be utilized. In order to meet the needs easily and use the existing energy resources, it is important to apply the solar-wind hybrid energy system on caravans. This thesis generally includes information about the operating logic of the system, the features of the parts and the necessary calculations, hybrid system applications with different features, the system we developed for caravans and its results.
