Abstract (EN)

When we say prose works in our literature, much as Collection of Biographies come to mind, prose stories, which are educational and didactic, are also written. Although they don't catch on as poem, many stories were compiled and brought into our literature through translation, adaptation or compilation. Cevâmi'ü'l-Hikâyât ve Levâmi'ü'r-Rivâyât, originally written by Muhammed Avfî, consisting of four parts and each separated into twenty-five chapters, is a bulky story corpus. The best known translation belongs to Celâl-zâde Sâlih Çelebi rather than translations of such characters as İbni Arabşah, Necâtî. In this study, the copy called Topkapı Revan K. No.1085 (565-752) belonging to Cevâmi'ü'l-Hikâyât and Levami'ü'r-Rivâyât was reviewed, which will take an important place with cultural quality in our literature. It was mentioned what is prose story, its classification and significance in history. After the story of Cevâmi'ü'l-Hikâyât ve Levami'ü'r-Rivâyât was introduced, which is the subject of the study, transcription of the story was provided.
