This research deals with the subject of the well-known Jamaleddin Ishak al-Karmani (d. 933 A.H.) "A footnote on Baydawi's tafsir from the beginning of Surah Munafiqun to the end of Surah Mulk". He is one of the scholars of the Ottoman period as Cemali Caliph. In his book, interpretations of Beydâvî's words are included, it is a researcher-based approach in verifying the investigative text that explains what is hidden from these words, elaborates on the beautiful aspects, and removes the ambiguity, especially on retirement-related issues. it is about documenting texts, proverbs and issues and extracting them from their context and sources, and its interpretation is limited to some ambiguous statements and problematic words. Among the most important findings: the introduction of al-Karmani and the description of some aspects of his life despite the lack of Arabic sources written about him. The footnote is distinguished by a kind of rational argument by examining and discussing the statements and opinions of the commentators. The footnote was not devoid of grammar, referring to the linguistic meaning of the grammatical rule Grammar and rhetorical anecdotes, such as the derivation of grammar and rhetoric, or the expression of rhetorical benefit or the place and importance of syntax in context, and the footnote is not devoid of some disadvantages.
