Analysis of Çerkeş Şeyhizade Halil Khalid's "Turkish Domination and British Civilization"

In this study, titled "Analysis of Çerkeş Şeyhizade Halil Khalid's Turkish Domination and British Civilization", in ten articles of Çerkeş Şeyhizade Halil Khalid, Ottoman-British relations, their historical course and British imperialist ambitions have been analyzed. In the thesis, starting from the work of Çerkeş Şeyhizâde Halil Halid, who was the first teacher to teach at Cambridge University, "Turkish Domination and British Civilization", the perspective of the Turkish foreign policy in the Early Republican Period and the understanding of Turkish domination and the expansionist policies of the British have been analyzed. Our thesis is based on the articles of Çerkeş Şeyhizâde Çerkeş Şeyhizâde Halil Hâlid, who wrote articles in British newspapers in London, worked as a Vice-Consul at the Ottoman Embassy in London, taught at Cambridge, studied political law and served as the Consul General of Bombay. It gives us important clues about the Turkish perception and the British's control over the Islamic geography and the world.
