Correlation, t-test, average "Kolmogorov Smirnov" test, "Mann Whitney U" test, "Kruskal Wallis H" and "Mann Whitney U" analysis were used to evaluate the data. The patients' average scores on the nurse-patient interaction scale significance dimension 102.52(±11.71), frequency 88.71(±10.10) and satisfaction (89.46±10.37) scores were found to be higher. A significant difference was found between the importance, frequency and satisfaction dimensions of the Nurse-Patient Interaction Scale and age, surgical department and grief status (p<0.05). The physical comfort dimension average score was of the Recovery Quality Questionnaire average score was 50.44(±4.03), the physical independence dimension average score of 15.26(±2.97) and average score of total recovery quality dimension was 162.23(±13.10). Through the Recovery Quality Questionnaire, age (p<0.001), clinic treated (p<0.001), chronic disease (p<0.001), type of anesthesia (p<0.008) and pain status (p<0.001) anwere found to be statistically significant. A significant relationship was found between the recovery quality questionnaire scores and the nurse-patient interaction scale (r=0.518, p<0.001), frequency (r=0.505, p<0.001) and satisfaction (r=0.520, p<0.001) dimensions. As a result, it was determined that the care-oriented nurse-patient interaction affected the recovery quality of the patients. In addition, it was seen that the nurse-patient interaction scale and the recovery process questionnaire were affected by the age of the patients, the clinic they were treated in, the chronic disease, the type of anesthesia and the severity of pain.
