Invenstigation of knowledge and attitude of surgical clinical employees about occupational health and safety: Productivity

The Goal: The purpose of the thesis, investigation of knowledge and attitue of safety, this knowledge and attitudes to determine the effect of efficiency. Method: This thesis work, 04.05.2015-15.09.2015 between; Fatih State Hospital, Yavuz Selim Bone Disease and Rehabilitation Hospital and Ahi Evren Hospital Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgey Training and Research Hospital 757 people the universe work. These employes; 183 doctors, 497 nurses, 77 consist of technicsans. %95 confidence range and sample size was determined as 256. Determined the number of people reaching a sheeter with the sampling method. Method with the total sample has been reached; 62 doctors, 168 nurses and 26 technicsan. For this study, the institution permits and allow the ethles commitee. Finding: Thesis work in companies where employees have information about what is new in Law number 6331 rates; %5,4(7 persons) have very little information, %20,9(27 persons) less information, %42,6(55 persons) is middle knowledge, %26,4(34 persons) good information, %4,7(6 persons) is very good knowledge. Investigated person doesn't believe in the past of %84,8 rules of safety and health at work is o waste of time to think. İnvestigated %3,8 of people part of it is the responsibility of the state to prevent occupational diseases. According to the employer is responsible fort his %3,77. According to employees responsible for %3,41. The effect of a work accident at work productivity has been asked %1,6(4 persons) of the part of the staff never doesn't affect productivity, %6,6(17 persons) of the part of the staff rarely affect productivity, %18(46 persons) of staff part occasionally affects productivity, %57(146 persons) of the part of the staff mostly affect efficiency. As a result, the working efficiency of work-related accidents are mostly affected. Result: Surgical clinics employees have knowledge about occupational health and safety.
