The aim of this study was to determine some of the physical, mechanical and combustion properties of Rowan wood impregnated with various chemical materials. For this purpose, the test samples prepared from Rowan (Sorbus Aucuparia Lipsky) wood wood materials - that are of common use in the forest products industry of TURKEY - according to TS 345, were treated with Tanalith-E, Vacsol-Azure, Imersol-Aqua and Boron compounds (Borax, Boric asid)by the vacuum impregnation process of ASTM D 1413 standards and directions of the manufacturer. After impregnation, each sample was tested for observation of retention amount, bending strengths (TS 2474), modulus of elasticity in bending (TS 2478), compression strengths (TS 2595). it has been proven that the physical, mechanical and combustion properties of the impregnated Rowan wood wood materials were affected by impregnated materials.
