Özet (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the effects of various wood coating paints on wood materials and boards on fire resistance. For this purpose, Eastern beech (Fagus oriantalis L.), scots pine (Pinus silvestris L.), Sapless oak (Quercus petraea L.), medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particleboard were used. Samples taken randomly from the determined materials were prepared in the size of 13*13*72 mm. Prepared samples were painted with acrylic, synthetic and cellulosic paint (lacquer paint) according to ASTM-D-3023. Combustion tests of the prepared samples were determined according to ASTM E 160-50. Combustion resistance; According to the material type, the highest Eastern beech, the lowest chipboard, the lowest acrylic paint and the highest synthetic paint were determined according to the paint type. auto-ignition temperature; the highest particle board (716.8), the lowest Eastern beech (645.7), the highest Yl+Sn+I (752.3) according to material type, paint type and number of coats interaction, the lowest MDF+Sn according to material type + II (573.2). Luminous intensity due to self-ignition; According to the interaction of material type, paint type and number of coats, the highest particleboard (865.3), the lowest Scots pine (839.5), the highest Yl+Ak+I (888.2), the lowest lowest Sc+ It is determined at S1+II (776.4). Accordingly, it can be recommended to use Eastern beech and synthetic dye type in places where high fire resistance is required.
