Abstract (EN)
Due to the need to adapt to the developments in technology and to provide competitive advantage, enterprises are trying to use new methods and to develop creative applications. The methodology used in the application development process has the most important effect on the success or failure of the process. In the same way, it is also important to pay attention to the selection of the methodology that will be applied to increase the performance and motivation of the employees. This thesis investigates the methods preferred by software companies in the banking sector and measures the effects of these methods on firm performance. For this purpose, software development methods were examined and the effect of these methods on employee performance was investigated. Questionnaire / scale questions were prepared in order to conduct analysis. In this study, traditional and agile software development methods were compared, the effect on firm performance was analyzed with statistical analysis methods using SPSS program, and it was revealed that agile methods were accepted by the employees and as a result of successful application in business processes, they had a positive effect on firm performance.
