Abstract (EN)

In this study, it has been aimed to overlap the criteria that determine the physical properties of different land uses of Dağılcak Nature Park and its periphery in Kozan district of Adana province by adhering to the environmental integrated landscape planning principles and to develop an ecological comprehensive land use proposal. The study has been conducted in four phases. 1) Natural and cultural data of the land has been provided and then these data has been transformed into standart maps. 2) 7 different types of land use has been created by using the plans of Kozan Forestry Operation Directorate and Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks under Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. The criteria of land use types have been scored by expert survey. 3) According to the scoring result, suitability maps of land use has been formed separately. They have been gathered under a single map in order to reveal the restrictive factors in the suitability maps and to expose the optimal use proposal map clearly. Thus, optimal options have been combined and physical boundaries of land use types have been revealed. 4) The long term physical plan decisions of Dağılcak Nature Park and its periphery have been created and proposals have been made to contribute to the future planned studies.
