Analysis of environmental health and hygiene, heat protection, investment cost and operating economy, indoor swimming pools for entertainment and amateur sports in city of Alanya and an indoor swimming pool suitable for these criteria.

After discovering recreation and entertainment with water, human beings prefer swimming pools as a way of life in the places where they live or in touristic facilities where they stay for holiday purposes. In these facilities or sites, they usually choose indoor swimming pools in winter or for sports purposes. Children and young people who study swimming use the indoor swimming pools a lot. The sales rate of the houses with indoor and outdoor swimming pools on the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts, where foreigners buy housing for residence purposes such as Alanya district, is higher than other houses. The number of both outdoor and indoor swimming pools in hotels, estates and private villas is increasing day by day. In this research, the analysis of indoor swimming pools in Alanya district according to environmental health and hygiene criteria, heat protection, insulation, investment cost and business economy criteria and an indoor swimming pool design study in accordance with these criteria are also included. It is hoped that especially the tourism sector and construction sector employees, construction companies and architectural design companies will benefit from these research results.
