Sociological analysis of environmental problems in the context of globalization

In this study, it has been pointed out that environmental problems have been carried to a global dimension. The environment has been ignored due to rapid development and changes. Thus, environmental problems have increased and become a problem that needs to be solved. Globalization, which is in the background of environmental problems, has taken the whole world under its influence. Among the most basic policies of a strong state and a strong society should be the effort to preserve the environment in which people can live in prosperity. Especially in the last century we live in, new environmental problems have emerged. The environment has been the most affected by the decisions made with economic development. The unconscious destruction of nature has led to the deterioration of its balance within itself. Humans must protect the environment in which they live with all their sensitivity. All kinds of plans for the protection of environmental balance should be a priority.
