Investigating the relationship between the environmental factors and the school principals' change management and technological leadership qualifications

This research aimed to determine the relationship between the environmental factors such as "the technological infrastructure applied in the educational and administrative matters of school, physical and economical facilities, monthly income sources, status of receiving an allowance, the status of intra-school communication and parent support" and the change management and technological leadership qualifications of school principals; if there, to explore whether the level of relationship between them was positive or negative. Accordingly, the relationship between the technological leadership and change management qualifications of the school principals and the specified environmental factors were explored. A descriptive and relational screening model, among the quantitative research methods, was employed in the research. It was determined that the data demonstrated normal distribution and the parametric tests were applied. According to the results, no significant difference was encountered in terms of the variables of technological leadership and change management qualification levels, their education status, the task of management, seniority of management and school type. A significant but insufficient relationship was determined between the technological infrastructure used in the education and management matters of the school, physical facilities, economical facilities, parent support status and intra-school communication status and their technological leadership qualifications. It was also found that the environmental factors such as "The Monthly Income Sources" and "The Status of Receiving Allowance" did not have any effect on the change management and technological leadership qualifications. It was concluded that the status of having a good technological infrastructure of school used in education, intra-school communication, physical and economic facilities explained the change management and technological leadership qualifications. It was concluded that the intra-school communication, the technological infrastructure used in educational and administrative matters of school were at a moderate level explained the change management qualifications. In addition, it was reached that the technological infrastructure which was used in the administrative matters of the school was at a fairly good level explained the technological leadership qualifications.
