Investigation of the relation between online graduate learners' attitudes towards distance learning and social anxiety

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the attitudes towards distance learning and social anxiety of learners enrolled in Anadolu University Social Sciences Institute Non-Thesis Master's and Educational Sciences Institute's Master's programs. At the same time, it was examined whether learners' social concerns and attitudes towards e-learning differ according to demographic variables. The universe of the research consists of students enrolled in Anadolu University Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Educational Sciences Non-Thesis Master's programs in the 2020-2021 academic year. The sample of the research consists of 142 learners studying in these institutes. 80 (56.3%) of the participants were women; 62 (43.7%) of them are male learners. The relational survey model was used as the research model. Personal Information Form, A General Attitude Towards E-Learning Social Anxiety Scale for E-Learning Environments were used as data collection tools. As a result of the research, when the relationship between the social anxiety of the learners and their attitudes towards e-learning was examined, it was determined that there was a strong negative relationship.
