Abstract (EN)

In today's technology, circuits with certain frequency dependencies are often needed. Filters are generally designed as two-or-four port circuits that provide transmissions at pass bands and suppressions at stop bands. As the size of electronic systems is getting smaller, the use of microstrip structure in filters has great importance at circuit designs and technologies. Microstrip filters provide great advantages to designers due to their small size, easy and cheap production. In this study, dual band pass microstrip filter designs and productions were performed, using Stub Loaded Resonator (SLR) and Defected Ground Structure (DGS) methods in the microwave range. The design and analysis of the filters were made with the AWR program and optimizations were ensured. In order to test the validity of microstrip filter structures, filters were produced and experimental measurements of the microstrip filters were carried out in İzmir Katip Çelebi University Electric-Electronic Measurement Laboratory. The results of the measurements were compared with the simulation results of the designed dual band pass microstrip filters. The comparison results showed that the theoretical and experimental data validate each other to a great extent.
