Farmers' adoption of agricultural unmanned aerial vehicle (AUAV) technology, example of Aydın ​​province

Agricultural drones enable the organized organization to contribute greatly to sustainable agriculture. Literature on this subject is quite sparse, so there is not much information about the adoption of management drones by farmers. The purpose of this article is to explore the options and features of farmers in choosing unmanned aerial vehicles for use in management work. Within the scope of the study, face-to-face surveys were conducted with 384 farmers. Different statistics, econometric and decision techniques were analyzed for the data obtained, including the conditional evaluation method, low payout forecasts, probit model regression, comprehensive matched comparison and VIKOR system. As a result, it was seen that government support had a positive effect on ZİHA purchasing decisions. The bright borrowing channel choice of farmers was interest-free loans. The desire to rent ZİHA was greater than the intention to purchase it. Farmers agreed to pay 28.75 TL per decare for rental. They preferred cooperatives in the provision of rental services. In general, farmers who are young, interested in technology, and have high management income drew the ZİHA adoption profile. The information obtained from this research offers new ways for decision makers to adopt ZİHA technology. The information obtained from this research both offers new clues to decision makers for the adoption of ZİHA technology and provides promotional contributions for possible market actors.
