Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in Çukurova conditions in 2023, in order to determine some agromorphological and quality traits of popcorn inbred lines, in Çukurova University, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department Research and Application Area, in the first crop corn growing season, according to the randomized block design with 3 replications. According to the data obtained from the research, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference for all traits except the first ear height of popcorn inbred lines. In popcorn inbred lines; ear length was 14.1-23.4 cm, ear diameter was 23-32 mm, number of rows on ear was 11-16 pieces, number of grains on ear was 230-771 pieces, number of grains in a row was 19-49 pieces, grain weight on ear was 17-105 g, grain yield was 39-747.9 kg/da, thousand grain weight was 77-161 g, popping volume was 10-50 cm3/g, single ear weight was 31-108.5 g, plant height was 149-210 cm, first ear height was 51-77 cm, plant stem thickness was 18-24 mm, nonpopping grain rate was 0-7.1%, top tasseling period was 76-82 days, ear tasseling period was 78-84 days.
