Examination of marital adjustment and attachment styles of spouses with sexual disfunction

The aim of the study was to examine of marital adjustment and attachment styles of spouses with sexual dysfunction. The study consist of two group; research and control group. The research group consist of 35 people who are presented to a urology and gynecology clinics with sexual life problems. The control group consist of 35 nonpatients. In evaluation, Socio demographical information form, Golombok-Rust Inventory Sexual Satisfaction, Marital Adjustment Scale and Experinces in Close Relationships Inventory II. Data has been analyzed using SPSS software. The research group had a marital adjustment problem. Overall, 71.4% of the people who have marital adjustment problem were found to fearful attachment style. This score is higher than control group's score (45.2%). Results indicated that problem of marital adjustment and attachment styles of spouses with sexual dysfunction.
