Incidence of the second generation STD agents in prostitutes and sexually active female

SUMMARY In the study done on prostitutes who had check-ups who didn't and symptomatic and asymptomatic housewives especially about the effects of second generation STD's genital colonalization and the prevalance of these diseases, 480 endocervical smear samples and 440 serum samples were examined. 18% of prostitutes who didn't have check-ups were found to have chlamydial colonalization where as this rate was 1 % in asymptomatic housewives. Also in prostitutes who didn't have check-ups the serum samples of 65% antichlamydial residual bodies were found to be 7.1%. Againts HSV type II the highest antibodies were found in women who didn't have check-ups (76.1%), followed by women who had check ups (41.3%) symptomatic house-wives (12.5%) and lastly asymptomatic housewives by 8.9%. 52
