The reflection of the differences of sexes to the art works of children (a research for the art works of the children aged 10)

The main aim of this research is to show the differences stemming from thesexes of the children at the age of 10. For this aim, 20 kids from the same age groupand in the same school which was choosen randomly in Ankara were used in thisresearch.In this study, 20 kids, 10 of whom are boys and the others are girls, weremade totally 40 arts. Three experts of the field gave scores to the Instruments of DataGathering. To determine the consistency of the scores given by the experts ?Pearsonproduct-moment correlation coefficient? was used. By using SPSS program, thedistribution measures were calculated and whether or not there were differences ofthe arts of children from different sexes was exaimed by ?Mann Whitney U Test?.The significant level was taken p< .05 .To measure the linear developments of the children, when the statistics areexamined, it is apperant that students can score the most at expression dimension ( x=3,99) , the least at space ( x =2,70).When the mostly used colours in the arts are examined, that the girls mostlyuse the pink and that the boys do not often prefer this colour in the arts is observed.When examined the results of the statistics that were made to find thedifferences between the scores of the art works of children from the different sexes,in the findings of ?Diagram and Expression Dimension?, it is seen that there isstatistically significant difference according to the sex variable.
