Abstract (EN)

The present research reveals the effect of increasing use of pharmaceuticals in recent years on the plants. For this purpose, pharmaceuticals of Ciprofloxacin, Doxylamine Succinate and Ibuprofen consumed frequently daily and wheat plants were used. In this study, seed germination, electrolyte leakage, H2O2, CAT, POX, SOD enzyme activities and mineral element accumulation were investigated, the pharmaceuticals employed on wheat in different concentrations and at different times. At the first step, for seed germination, 25 μg / mL, 50 μg / mL and 100 μg / mL of pharmaceuticals were put into the petri dishes. At the end of the 5th day, the root and trunk's length and weight were measured. In the next step, 700 g of soil was mixed with 3 different pharmaceuticals of Ciprofloxacin, Doxylamine succinate and Ibuprofen in different concentrations (50, 100, 250 mg) and watered according to the field capacity. Wheat was harvested at the end of 14th day. In the next step of the study, 1450 g of soil was mixed with 300 mg Ciprofloxacin, Doxylamine succinate and Ibuprofen pharmaceuticals and watered according to the field capacity. Harvest of the first week was made at the end of the 7th day, harvest of the second week at the end of 14th day and that of the third week at the end of the 21st day. In both applications, electrolyte leakage, H2O2, CAT, POX, SOD enzyme activities and mineral element accumulation were measured. When the data obtained in this study are evaluated, statistically significant differences can be observed in the samples to which pharmaceuticals have been given depending on time and increase in concentration.
