Abstract (EN)

Postmodernism is a movement that has come in sight in almost every aspect of life for many years. It is also possible to come across the traces of this movement in children's media. The aim of this research is to identify through which elements postmodernism is being transferred in children's media. In the research, the answers to the questions of "How are postmodern elements reflected in the cartoons broadcast on TRT Çocuk and minikaGO channels?" and "How has postmodernism been approached in the magazines of Kafa Çocuk ve Bilim, Bilim ve Çocuk, minikaÇOCUK and minikaGO?" were seeked. During the research, document analysis pattern was used. The data were gathered via an observation form that would reveal the visual and auditory messages of postmodernism. In the analysis of cartoons and magazines, descriptive research was applied under the title of postmodern elements. The categories that had been determined via literature review was used in the data acquisition process of the analysis. According to the results obtained from the research, it was monitored that postmodernism's effects on the cartoons were via the elements of technology, consumption, violance, nostalgy, pastiche, time and parody; and it's effects on the magazines were via the elements of consumption, technology, nostalgy and time.
