Abstract (EN)

The study was conducted in order to understand the relationship and level of Apelin and some chemical parameters with renal failure. The patients in the study were randomly taken from patients with renal failure, the study included 140 cases divided into two groups, group A: 60 healthy people as a control group, group B: 80 patients with renal failure. RESULTS: Patients with renal failure with respect to age, weight, and height indicate significant differences in age with patients with renal failure that can be useful in tracking the disease. On the contrary, there are no significant differences in weight and height. The results of Apelin were indicating the presence of statistically significant and clinically significant differences that may be useful in the diagnosis and investigation of disease or the follow-up of disease during treatment. The results of the urea and creatinine tests, which are sensitive to patients with renal failure, indicate very significant differences between the two study groups. The globulin results also indicated no significant differences. GSH and MDA results indicated significant differences at P = <0.05. When performing Pearson's test and examining the relationship between Apelin and the rest of the parameters in the study, there was a strong association with age, in addition to a strong association between Apelin and the rest of the study parameters, and the results also indicate a positive relationship
