Abstract (EN)
During the technical break at the LHC, which is planned to last until 2015, the improvement and development of the CMS sub-detectors will be conducted. During this time, the renovation work will be done at HCAL calorimeter sub-detectors HO and HF. HPDs, which are used as photo - detectors at HO calorimeter, have been found to produce large noise pulses in the presence of magnetic field. In order to eliminate this problem, the current HPDs at the HO will be replaced by SiPMs. SiPMs' pedestal tests have to be made prior to insertion into the detector. Also single anode PMTs, which are used as photodetectors in HF calorimeter will be replaced with multi anode PMTs. The pedestal tests also applied to the new PMTs. This thesis study includes SiPMs' and multi anode PMTs' pedestal works.
