Investigation about relations between vocational maturity and self acceptance level by child development education and preschool teacher last class students.

INVESTIGATION ABOUT RELATIONS BETWEEN VOCATIONAL MATURITY AND SELF ACCEPTANCE LEVEL BY CHILD DEVELOPMENT EDUCATION AND PRESCHOOL TEACHER LAST CLASS STUDENTS ABSTRACT This research is made for the investigation about relations between vocational maturity and self acceptance level by Child Development Education and Preschool Teacher students. The sample of the research is made by 222 last class students of Universitis in Ankara(Ankara, Hacettepe, Başkent, Gazi, Ortadoğu teknik üniversitis) whom receiving education about Child Development Education and Preschool Teacher. In this study, the aim of the measure for; self acceptance by Kılıçcı(1981) ?Inventory of self acceptance?, and vocational maturity by Crites (1973) development of Uzer (1987) ?Inventory of Vocational Maturity? is used.The relation between self acceptance and vocational maturity of the students has been observed. The students department, the point type of university, the average mark, the order of choice, kind of the high school, age, the number of sister or brother, settlement places, the education of father and mother etc. investigated between self acceptance and vocational maturity. When looking the results department, the point type of University, the average mark, the order of choice, kind of the high school , age, the number of sister or brother, settlement places , the education of father and mother showed that the relation between vocational maturity and self acceptance have no important difference but also the level of self acceptance and vocational maturity have positive relation between each other. This relation has showed that when the self acceptance level increases also the vocational maturity increases.
