The analysis of some works of Mustafa Ruh Şirin in the context of philosophy for children

This study was conducted to show that some of Mustafa Ruhi Şirin's poems and stories can be used as a stimulus in philosophy activities for children. In this study, a 'literature review' is preferred in order to examine the approach to philosophy with children in depth and in detail. In the research, content analysis and scanning model are used based on document analysis, which are qualitative data collection methods. Hermeneutical reding and interpretation of the examined texts are made. It consists of examining the master's and doctoral theses, published works, articles and other published writings in the field of Mustafa Ruhi Şirin. In this context, Mustafa Ruhi Şirin's poetry books "Aşk Olsun Çocuğum Aşk Olsun", "Dünya Kardeş Sobe" poetry books and "Her Çocuğun Bir Yıldızı Var" story book should be examined in the context of the Philosophy for Children (P4C) education program, and should be used as a reference to guide the facilitator who wants to use philosophy for children in the educational process. It is planned in this study to reveal the philosophical meanings by including suggestions for implementation. As a result of the analysis carried out on the works determined as the object of study, it has been revealed that the works can be used as a suitable tool for philosophy activities for children.
