Abstract (EN)
Purpose of the study: is to investigate the relationship between posture and plantar pressure distribution in cildren with low back pain. Materials and methods: 84 volunteer students participated for this study between the age of 6-17. Children who have not undergone lower extremity surgery, dont have trauma and sprain, dont have known extra sickness were studied for the last 6 months. Posture is evaluated with New York Posture Rating Scale and Posturescreen mobile programme with pain intensity, visual analog scale, back functionality are evaluated with Oswerty Disability Index. Plantar Pressure Distribution is observed with Impronta Medicia Baropodometri Footscan (Italy) by the help of pedobarografy device with static pedographic evaluations. Results: When the relationship between visual analog scale, New York Posture Rating Scale survey and oswestry disability index are reviewed the pain intensity of the New York Posture Rating Scale evaluation survey visual analog scale is p =0,000, r = 0.376 and Oswestry disability index is p = 0,000, r = 0.387 with negative weak relation were observed. The scores obtained from the visual analog scale with Oswestry Disability Index are observed and the relation was strong and positive p = 0,000 and r= 0.376. when the data obtained from plantar pressure distribution and posturscreen values were examined, it was found positive. Conclusion: As a results, beneficial relationship is obtained between posture and plantar distribution in the children. Changes in Plantar pressure distribution effects the lower extremity and posture. Posture and plantar pressure changes may cause the low back pain Keywords: Low Back Pain, Plantar Pressure Distribution, Functionality, Posture
