Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to determine the liquefaction potential of the soils of Bayburt province, its districts and towns for earthquake magnitudes Mw=5.5, Mw=6.0, Mw=6.5, Mw=7.0 and Mw=7.5. Using the SPT values obtained from the drilling logs, the liquefaction potential was investigated using the Seed and Idriss (1971) method through the ProSıvı program. Considering the earthquake maps of Turkey, the maximum ground acceleration value (amax) was calculated regionally. The liquefaction potential maps, the groundwater level maps and the soil settlement maps of the study area were created with the help of Geographic Information System (GIS).
